Trainings/Orientations

Summer 2008

Anyone 12 years or older interested in helping with the bird hospital or other volunteer opportunities at the Center must attend an orientation.

You will be introduced to the Center's history and programs; requirements for volunteer participation; and take a tour of the facility during a one-hour orientation session. Meetings will be held at the Center on the dates and times below.

For more information and to make a reservation to attend any orientation session, call the Center at 707-523-BIRD(2473).

Please note: There are no further orientations scheduled for this Summer. If you are interested in caring for baby birds, please call the Center during the Winter quarter for the dates of upcoming orientation sessions which will start in late Winter and early Spring. Alternatively, come by the Center and sign up on our “Interested in helping the birds?” sheet and we will contact you when orientation and training classes are scheduled.
