As a Junior Volunteer, you can play an essential role in our Rehabilitation Hospital. Junior Volunteers work side-by-side adult volunteers, sharing most of the same responsibilities. You will work with as many as 120 different species, learning how and what to feed them as you participate in prepping diets, changing nesting materials, general cleaning, laundry, dishes and other activities.

The work can be intense—especially during Baby Bird Season—but the rewards are many. You will be taking care of animals who are depending on you for their survival, and when you personally help these birds in their recovery and they return to the wild for their second chance at life, it is truly an indescribable feeling.
