Rehabilitation Raptor and Release Coordinator

The Rehabilitation Raptor and Release Coordinator (RRRC) is responsible for assessing raptor patients that enter the rehabilitation hospital, coordinating the movement of these patients as they progress, and coordinate proper release based on species, age, and season; assisting medical staff with daily raptor care and husbandry; and assisting the Hospital Manager with raptor-related research, networking, and protocol development, as well as Raptor Team volunteer training and management. The RRRC will work directly under the Hospital Manager, alongside Hospital Clinic Supervisors, and give direction to Raptor Team volunteers.

Hospital Clinic Assistant

The Clinic Assistant is responsible for aiding in daily avian care and husbandry at The Bird Rescue Center. Must be able to work individually as well as in a team, have significant communication and multi-tasking skills, and have the best interest of the animal in mind. Clinic Assistants will work directly under the Hospital Manager and Clinic Supervisors and give direction to hospital volunteers.

2022 Summer Internship

The Rehabilitation Hospital Intern is responsible for performing and coordinating daily avian care and husbandry at The Bird Rescue Center. Interns must be able to work individually as well as in a team, have significant communication and multi-tasking skills, and have the best interest of the animal in mind. Hospital Interns work directly under the Hospital Manager and Clinic Supervisors, and alongside hospital volunteers.
